Charlie has been busy practicing his basketball skills. He has the chest pass, bounce pass, lay-up and free throw down. This picture makes me a bit sad, I can already see him as a teenager...
My mom has been knitting socks, aren't they gorgeous, nothing feels better on the feet than a home-made pair of soft socks made with nothing but love. She is also very good at stopping mid-stitch (not easy) to read a book to C or K.
Adam has been busy gardening and playing tennis. The kids watch him do these things he loves, and now playing tennis and gardening are things THEY love, especially when it involves their daddy. Side note, when I first met Adam I told him I wanted to help my mom start a garden. He claimed he hated gardening, and sat against this very fence and slept under his hat while I slaved away at creating this garden. Now not a day goes by that he doesn't weed this, add that, plant this, care for that. I guess some people can change.
For weeks the kids went to the park everyday to work on this big hole together.
And for the few waking hours we are actually home everyday, the kids are always busy being silly together. I wonder how many more months before Charlie won't be able to carry Kate around....
And Kate has been busy picking out her own clothes, as you can see. This was at 6 at night in the backyard....
There are a few days a week where Charlie doesn't nap, which leaves Charlie-Sarah time to play games, do puzzles, and have fun together. Here he is.....catching fish
And I have been busy loving my kids, it truly is a full-time job. When I am not busy hugging, kissing, playing, cooking , reading, mediating arguments, and trying to restore peace in the home, I am either working out at FIT or tutoring at the library. We are all busy, but all happy. And if any of you want to come join our busy days, we welcome you!
